More on 'Awareness'....
Post-Pandemic the world is not going to be the same. It's now official from IMF, the world economy will shrink by 3% . Worse than the great depression of the 30s. Mere human efforts in the world to lift the sagging graph may not be enough. Needs deep introspection for a directional change in the way we conceive and construct our lives based on that.
Pandemic could be a Godsent jolt to the human consciousness to evolve and move up to the next level.
So, back to this 'Awareness' again. Read it as 'Consciousness' if you love jargonising.
In fact the entire humanity has outgrown religion. Which played an important role in shaping up lives with certain discipline. But for Religions, with all animal tendencies let loose, only the fittest physically would have survived. Another animal kingdom. Driven only by base instincts. Religions regulated human lives. Brought in a possibility to raise above the selfishness to survive even at the cost of others lives.
But for Religion, the senses would have gone berserk and in China's wet market there would have been a human setion. Carona would have arrived before time and consumed all.
But.... Religion outlived it's utility. Instead of regulating and uniting, it became a cause for the opposite to happen. Giving birth to Religious Fanaticism.
Yes. We, as people, outgrew the age old Religions. And the traditional Masters representing them have a hard time getting audience. Unless they speak in English in typical slant like Jaggi with a fancy outfit and a huge NRI backing, no Religious outfit can draw the audience that can help carry forward the torch.
Simply put, the focus shifted. From what is told to who tells. The Masters themselves lost the power to transform. In fact they need it themselves. Gone are the days of Shankaracharya. Who waited for a low IQ disciple called Giri to start his Upanishad lessons. When another disciple Padmapada suggested not to wait for Giri who doesn't understand anything, instantly, out of compassion, Adishankara blessed Giri to become a scholar. And Lo! Giri made a heroic entry like Thalaiva in Tam films. Reciting extempore the famous Thodakadhtakam eight verses on his Guru. Even Padmapada the erudite student was dumbstruck.
Such was the greatness of Religious Masters.
Now the great Religions stopped manufacturing Adi Shankaras. All you get is the avarcious pundits with an eye on dakshina. When a product malfunctions you blame the manufacturer. And outdated machines can only produce Chinese like products. Low price low quality.
So time to take off tangentially from old orbit to new, with escape velocity.
So escape. From outdated religions to pureplay Spirituality. But you can't wish away the Religions in their last leg of journey. Till they are around be Religion neutral. Spiritual positive.
And do a Ramana. Basic. Simply dwelling on the 'Awareness' that manifests as 'Self'.
The first step is to restore the simplicity snatched away from us. By the spiritual elites without self experience.
Get simple. If the Lord is not accessible to simpletons He is not worth following. Many high flying Gurus made spirituality look like IIT entrance. Just discard them and restart. With simplicity.
Only Awareness. Nothing else exists. All in the phenomenal world are it's manifestations. One becoming many.
We should figure out the mechanism of this Awareness. Like we try n understand the functions of a new mobile phone even as we use it, we need to understand the 'Awareness' even as we 'live' it. If you pursue the question 'what animates me', it's enough. It's pre cursor to the next historic Ramana question ' Who am I'. Now it's out of syllabus, till Awareness per se is understood. Keep your quest on. Only you can help yourself in your pursuit. Once you reach the benchmarked level, a genuine master will appear from nowhere and take you to the higher realms. Like Ramakrishna did to Vivekananda. Yukteshwar giri did to Yogananda. Nityananda did to Muktananda. And many more.
Awareness gets struck in our mindspace at different levels. Moving them out, swiftly towards goal post is only Sadhana.
Awareness struck at low end potholes makes one mean minded. Makes one 'Aware' of only Petty issues. Get Noisy. No grace.
Lift the 'Awareness' above that by some process. Same irritating neighbour. Same situation. But as the 'Awareness' is lifted up, no more disturbance. Able to smile and say 'Hi' from heart gracefully.
Awareness struck in another pothole. Self esteem lost. Only others endorsements can lift the spirit. Dependence on undependables. Miserable life. Lift the 'Awareness' to higher realms. To a point where others opinions don't matter anymore. Are you able to sing a bhajan in wilderness and enjoy without any clapping audience. Oh.you have arrived!
Same in other spots where Awareness is badly struck causing personality disorders and you yank it out.
Don't get into the God - No God business as certifying authority. Just be aware of Awareness. Branded as Conciousness. Realise everything is Play of Consciousness.
Now tell about Awareness n it's attributes to a Naasthik - Atheist. And see how they become argumentless. They have issues only with God.. As we positioned ourselves to save God, they kept asking a valid question.You save God or God saves you? They won't question all pervading identityless Godliness. 'Awareness' in other words. Which can only be experienced. Deep inside.
Studying and experiencing this Awareness is Spirituality.
Post Pandemic world will move in this direction. To discover more on pureplay spirituality. Will get Religion neutral n Spiritual positive.
New rules of the game will come up. Fanatics will line up with the unemployed seeking Govt's MNREGA work!.
