Sairam. Suprabath. 😌🙏🌹
Wed Jun 10, 2020

Good. Mumbai opens up a little. The roads dotted with odd BEST buses. Some signs of life again. But normalcy in Mumbai is only when there are traffic snarls n terribly crowded trains . Which are yet to happen.

The left over faces around the masks are enough to show the panic of the pandemic.

In a way it's nature's pay back time. Collective Karma of the community, manifested as Carona bandhu.

Look around. There is so much of metamorphosis in metros of India. A whole new generation of post liberalisation era, mutated. Gerrymandering a mature civilisation to suit it's western pursuits. So much naklipan. The new found prosperity touched only the Metros' nouveau-riche.
And they are merrily aping the west, bending backwards. Later the millennials joined the party wholesale with Kholi haircut.

There was a time upto which the elders at homes counselled the kiddos. And the Adolescents. To wean them away from the Paagalpan of blindly following the West. But the elders were reverse-counselled by them. Result : Buzurg  in Bermudas, walking the dogs in the colony roads, listening to Jazz, giving a neat go by to the left over native culture in their respective homes. They also succumbed to FB selfies as part of self-promo. "Gimme my space ..yeah" they fervently appeal in imitated accent. And loaded their wordstock with new arrivals.. Like friend'zoning. And the like..

Dheke Puck gaya 🤔 in our old world mumbai lingo.

Such deadly dalliances with the West costed our native culture dearly. Paid with Peace. Harmony. And impaired relationships.
But the party is on, notwithstanding.

When NewYork, their Mecca of materialism crumbled, unable to provide even the basics for survival when the teeny weeny virus struck, everyone and his uncle turned mature philosophers. And mega-mused internally. Pearls of wisdom poured out. "How Eastern family- centred culture is great" etc.
Read the rantings in Western media. Desperately crying over the need to have ones own folks around death bed, when corona strikes n Ventilators fail. They pleaded with docs for facetime with their folks trading even for ventilators. Sad. Agonising.

Post pandemic, need to build a different India. To begin with, Metro-Indians need to stop the manipulations. As rest of the country follows them, they need to straighten up. They only teach, how to sneak thru law, after doing all evil, without getting caught.

Yes. The collective Karma of the manipulative world only manifested as deadly Corona.

Learn to lead a simple, truthful life. Asli zindagi. Without dhikawat that is.

No need to believe that West is the best in terms of empirical knowledge. Gyan ki bandaar . And as though ours is a country of Sadhus, Sanghis and Snake Charmers. That's the old western media created Brahmn. Come out of it. As much as we had Spiritual depth, we had equal n more Wisdom width. Enough to teach the world.

Seniors in each Indian home should use this extended lockdown to Google on India. And read it's history. From Indus Valley civilisation 5000 yrs ago till now. And realise the Thought Leadership we possessed. And tell the youngsters proudly. How, when US was in primititive state waiting to be discovered by Columbus accidentally centuries later, we had Nalanda and Takshila universities (3rd cent B.C)teaching the world. In its Peak, Nalanda had 10000 students  many from overseas. As per ASI records, subjects taught at Nalanda included theology, grammar, logic, astronomy, metaphysics, medicine and philosophy. Don't allow the millennials at home to rubbish them saying, it's all past glory not useful now.
Google more. And discover how in recent times, Seshan, the then election commnr  was guided by Kanchi Paramacharya to refer the 9th century carvings in Uttiramerur temple walls.
And how Seshan studied as guided and reformed the election process in India like never seen before.
Google more and bump into a great Engineering treatise Samaraangana Sutradhara by Bhoja Raja 1000 yrs ago. That contains details of building even an airplane. Amazing engineering details.
If still they don't agree show the Indian almanacs computed centuries ago without even a base calculator, the precise time of an eclipse that would occur centuries later. And they do at the precise appointed time. Even now.

Our ancestors drew the wisdom bytes from the inexhaustible spiritual source. Not by lab tests and Lancet reports they retract even before it's read fully.

It's top down. Wisdom is divine. Rest are mere knowledge. Like Met guys knows about weather. Space scientists know celestial stuff. Very crucial info. Yet not wisdom. Just knowledgeable in specific domains. SMEs - Subject matter experts.

Rooted in Spirituality, our ancestors acquired wisdom by divine grace. Certain internal vision helped the seers to see beyond the senses.
And made them realise and declare the unfathomable Truths governing life, otherwise not available.
From the science of astronomy to the subject of architecture, they hit bulls eye. The 8th century Ellora cave temples excavated vertically for 20 yrs is a case in point.

We need to reboot that India. With Thought Leadership and Economic Superiority. Empowered by the Spiritual Engine. Formidable combo.

Get back to your roots. Shedding the Western naklipan acquired along the way.. To the left over strong cultural roots still green.
Your Chosen God. Family's Spiritual practices. Ghar ghar ki Puja Paat ki ⤰िā¤ĩा⤜. Restore all these n more in this lockdown. Turn MetroSpiritual, in short.

Where to begin. Did you ask.

Yes. You guessed it right.

Pray. Chant. Meditate

Retrace your steps. And slowly get back to your native spirit. Pristine. Puritanic. ā¤Ē्⤰ा⤚ी⤍ God's own land.

The spiritual vibes that envelope you, can lift you up to the new corridors of God's kingdom. Where divine wisdom is plug n play.

Get wise. Change lifestyle. Live peacefully. In total harmony.

Then the ⤰ूā¤Ē⤰े⤖ा of rebooted New India will pass thru your doorsteps. Aur kya chahiye?

Wed  Jun 3, 2020

Corona seems to have nearly settled down liking us so much. And we too seem to have accepted it as fait accompli and started learning to live with it. But it defies Nature's mandate. To teach us a lesson. It's like a Cop getting friendly with the criminal. So Nature sends another set of cops. Cyclones. What Corona takes days to destroy, these fellows can achieve in a single day. Cyclone Amphan. Now Nisarga. They come with fancy names ( who gives?), strike us black n blue and landfall somewhere, even before we gather ourselves n stand up to see. If we are alive, that is. If we still don't learn, may be Quakes n Tsu.... Kya maloom.

Sooner we learn better. Is it realising God? No. That's far away for many. But understanding His gift, the Nature per se. And respecting it, giving it it's legitimate space. Which we failed to do.
Nature is God expressed in gross format.

Somehow we, humans, started feeling that everything in Nature is only for us to exploit. And went about devastating Indiscriminately. Incurring the wrath of Nature. It was our Action time then. Now Reaction time for Nature.
Sab ka apna apna time

Ok. Before the next Rakshash is  sent by Mom Nature, pick up a thing or two and do koshish to ⤏ु⤧⤰⤍ा .

Go to simple basics. What we see is the physical world. And we tend to believe only what we see. Touch n feel.
That's how the Science appeals to all. It even impressed Nehru. Who wanted Scientific temper to dominate n ignore the complicated Godly stuff. But ended up with more complicated 'Secularism'. Which we are destined to decode n fail eternally...

But we are done with the physical world. Milked it dry. Exploited Nature to the full n more. Any more attempts will only incur the wrath . Like it's happening now. Disaster series ver 1.0, 2.0 ...

So, logically, our next windfalls can come only from another realm. Jaise ghar ka kadham ho gaya tho baahar se hi laana padega types.
So explore the external frontiers. Physical chod dho. It's no more a milk yielding cow.

Try now in meta'physical. Science tells Big Bang started this universe , just 13.8 bn yrs ago. Before that what? Who triggered it in a super orderly fashion to end up as Planets n throbbing lives. Whose Master Plan..algorithm . Explore.

If the word 'God' is too cliched n difficult to accept with the Nehruwala 'Scientific temper', give another name n explore. We give new names on the fly to even destroyer Cyclones. Why not Creator. Call God by any name. But explore. Before Nature sends another teacher.

Accepting gross, physical world is no big deal. Anyone can experience. But issue is with their invisible control centres.. In subtle.

Subtle things cause doubts. What is not seen n heard does not exist, the mind says in the first round. Push it hard to go beyond. Tell it in harsh Mumbai lingo " Abhey. You yourself are subtle. And you won't accept your Jaathwale. Bas kya ? "
May be it will work.

All God related experiences are in subtle space. Miracles that defy logic are experienced there. Which atheists hate and condemn. But that's God's own constituency. All subtle.

In times of need God and Godmen turn from subtle to gross for specific objectives n return back. Like in case of Thomas Munroe in Mantralaya, the abode of St. Raghavendra.

When Sir Thomas Munroe was the Collector of Bellary in 1800 A. D, the Madras Government ordered him to procure the entire income from the Math and Manthralaya village. When the Revenue officials were unable to comply with this order, Sir Thomas Munro visited the Math for investigation. He removed his hat and shoes and entered the sacred precincts. Sri Raghavendra swamy emerged from the Vrindavan ( Samadhi) and conversed with him for some time, about the resumption of endowment. The Saint was visible and audible only to Munroe. The stunned Collector went back and wrote an order in favour of the Math and the village. This notification was published in the Madras Government Gazette in Chapter XI, page 213, with the caption "Manchali Adoni Taluka". This order is still preserved in Fort St. George and Mantralayam.

Now that an European experienced subtle phenomenon, there should be no problems for us Indians to believe. For the left overs still in doubt, one more from another European, Paul Brunton. In his famous book " A search in secret India" he explained how Kanchi Paramacharya appeared inside his locked room in a hotel in Chingleput (near Chennai) in subtle form and advised him to visit another great Saint Ramana Maharishi. ( After many decades Paramacharya explained the process of subtle entry in to the locked room to a journalist who pestered so much to know). Rest is history as they say.

Just read only about the experience of the westeners who rule our scientific minds even now and explore the prospects of Subtle as our next destination. Gross physical world can't be milked any more. If done, we may have to name many more cyclones with fancy names.

So, settle with 'subtle' as next port of call in our voyage. Of life.

No need to fall at the feet of false Gurus. Ignore hard coded God concepts. No need to do Mundan vandan at the drop of a hat. Nourish your hair with choicest hairdos as before. No need for any mannath either.
Discover your own God and name it yourself. Post it away to glory in all social media declaring it as your Personal God. (Don't forget to add 'awesome' as it's mandatory there). Get 'likes'. But stay put with your chosen God. Explore deeply. Sincerely. You are unique. So are your ways. JK , the philosopher proved it.

Only 'Subtle' takes you places in your long journey. Across births. Understanding this phenomenon n tuning ourselves anew makes sense. Like learning to drive a new vehicle.

Where to begin n what to do for this .. Did you ask ?

Yes..You guessed it right.

Pray. Chant. Meditate

Realise, that you almost arrived.
For the journey to the next realm.
The Subtle Kingdom of your own
chosen God.
Grow internally.
See the green shoots here n there.
Yes. A new life has begun.
Governed by subtle coordinates.

Haan..you have arrived.
Live it soulfully.

And demonstrate
to the World as
the next Paradigm
post Pandemic.

Mon Jun 1, 2020

Now we are in a Corona-integrated world. Common enemy unites. What a tiny virus could achieve in few months, even the UN couldn't, since it's inception in 1945. Despite declaring that as the objective.

All we believed in, belied us. Corona lessons that go around non stop in social media - WA/FB/TW - point out the need to start living differently. That doesnt exclude even Spiritual domain.

Spirituality survived for eons. When the aliens occupied India running empires subjugating the natives, only in spiritual domain we saw counter narrative. The bhakti movement started in 8th century enveloping entire India. Tangentially taking off in those times against the backdrop of ritualistic worship. Effective enough to uphold the Indian essence till the end of alien occupation.

Now another watershed moment. Ushered in by Corona. Enough lockdown time to revisit our age old concepts. And jettison the dead woods in mind n take off tangentially. Get slim n more efficient. And live differently in post pandemic world.

Think of all that the world stuffed over decades in your mindspace. Complex Spiritual Philosophies. Postulates. Pickled over time -ā¤…ā¤šा⤰ !
No major change in us, though. Most of us are the same. In endless misery. We 'contained' so much of rich 'content' as mere containers. But 'Containers' and 'Content' don't share common richness.

When things don't seem to go rightly, we need to have some ⤍⤝ाā¤Ē⤍ in ⤏ो⤚ ā¤ĩि⤚ा⤰ . Ek naye ⤆⤝ाā¤Ž (dimension). So that we radically change as better humans.

Let us begin with a demo. The perennial torture of the mind. Constantly struggling to resolve umpteen issues. Agony. Is there some way to live peacefully. If not blissfully.
For most of us, no philosophies helped. Nor the ā¤Ē्⤰ā¤ĩ⤚⤍s n sermons. Neither Mind control workshops nor motivational speakers. Is there a way out ? Tangential possibility? In the post pandemic New World Order at least.

Deeply looking at it, the mental torture originates from certain bias. Inherent in us. No need to refer Upanishads for endorsements . Our native bias is known. Even to our neighbours. That irrational bias only is behind our getting judgemental. On everything we come across. Causing havoc.

Is there a tangent to think differently and escape from the tyranny of judging mind.

Some clue from Spiritual Masters. Certain dynamic silence is the saviour. Mere Sakshi bhav type silence as they say. And demonstrated. Observation without judgements.

Now look at it differently. Without old jargons. The catch phrase is 'Neutral'. All actions arising from that 'neutral equilibrium' can never hurt. Self or Others.

Now can we radically alter our way of doing things without losing this core learning.

When we travel by bus, umpteen things we see thru the window but not affected by any. We 'look' at them but don't intently 'see'. We 'hear' the noises but don't intently 'listen'. We are in our own world even as we observe all.
Certain Neutrality. The good ol' Shakshi bhaav is already out there. We keep going 'looking' and 'hearing' all but not 'seeing' n 'listening' pointedly. It's neutralizing the inputs. Not 'approving' or 'negating'. Negating would mean shutting off the eyes n ears. Not practical.

Yes. The tangent is to 'Neutralise' as against 'Negate'. Negating has it's own downside producing counter actions.

Great spiritual Masters lived by 'neutralising' in a way, in all encounters. Huge 'let go'. That neutral stand point is where we should reach. Calm, Serene neutrality. But firm in execution.

When the adolescent son throws up tantrums, remain calm. Neutralise by allowing it to let go. When he peaks out and descends, get across your point. Firmly. When the boss yells irrationally, let go. Don't negate. Later when he descends to room temperature, try to explain. Firmly.
From maid servants and drivers to superiors to close relatives, employ this. Neutralise. Do not Negate. Negating drains away energy. Yell at the maid and see her smiling away to next vessel to clean after initial retort, while you still sulk. And ruin your day.

Against carrying bias n being harsh, you can be rooted in calm neutral equlibirium, but firm. Still same or more work done at less expense of energy.

All out of the box solutions arise only in serene unbiased neutrality. Not in emotional turmoil.

If mind could be brought to that celebrated status of serene neutrality, even in the midst of agitation all around, we can win. Hands down. Then in every knotty situation, mind can take off tangentially n innovate a solution.

In the post pandemic New World Order, new perspectives like 'Tangential take off' and 'Neutrality', may catch up. And work to create 'Slim' minds without philosophical dumps. So that the efficiency increases manifold.

And it's possible to get a Slim mind without old garbage.

Certain prep needed.
Yes. You guessed it right.

Pray. Chant. Meditate

See the mind thinning out slowly. With less n less thoughts crossing by.
The old unwanted dumps slowly vanish leaving only the essentials.

Mind settles down in a new Serene Neutral Equilibirium.
With certain Taazapan .

Precisely that's the point, where immense possibilities arise to go tangentially and discover new solutions.

Reach there.
In the post Pandemic New World Order.

In these days of Lockdown extensions , in between WA/FB 'postings' n 'forwards' there is still some left over life to be lived. Meaningfully.

Like putting at rest many never ending pesky questions of the mind. For which we had no time during non-lockdown normal days. Explore n fix now.

Many live random lives. As life presents itself as we go along. As plain Zorbas. Earning and enjoying with singing-dancing equivalents and crying when some disaster strikes. Is there a way out? - is the Q.

Can this Lockdown induced time-surplus help us to set the randomised life in order.
Put some sense in to our overheated minds. Some sense of proportion in the intellect that feels threatened by rumours of Locusts from North, while ignoring the real mighty danger of Chinese stand off at LAC.

In all departments of life we falter. And fail to reach our real goals of life. A false lifestyle hogs our life's bandwidth. And not much left to live a simple, authentic life. Without naklipan. Ek amulya jeevan.

Yes. Life is full of risks. Uncertainties. Last year by this time no clue about the sudden shutdown across the world. Now life-after-lockdown haunts many. Such unpredictables are part of life. Unprepared minds, however highly placed, succumb. Lose Peace and go under. Watch how even the top executives managing empires, crashland when losing jobs. It's not their life but lifestyle at stake. Can't be compromised. The brittle ones break.

It's worth exploring de-risking strategies for the victim minds and protect them from getting sucked in to the abyss.

Disasters occur. In outside world and personal lives. But those with internal strength stay erect. With some unknown force empowering them from inside. After every distaster you get to see some, taking a cool walk over the debris. They found the way to keep the head above water even in Tsunamis. Some mettle that is.
In this left over lock down, if we crack this Da Vinci code, we are done. Cool.

Many poor Indians at the bottom of the pyramid have a great privilege. Of practicing faith. They can vow to do a mundan at Tirupati if they come out of a disaster. The intensity of their faith does the majic. Once out, they go to Tirupati , tonsure n come back after a hearty darshan in long queues. Possible for them. Their deity never fails them. Their illiteracy n crude demeanor notwithstanding.
But as urban folks, try it out. Won't work. The trade off with hair on the head is a deal breaker. Getting that intensity of faith is another challenge. So, we remain. Not sure of God's capabilities to save us in dire straights. Against our exchange offer with hair.

We judge God n declare which God is a okay guy and which one is not. And expect the judged God to deliver. Mental manifestations. Nothing to do with the real God watching this fun.

As we do our little seva ( Dial d distressed) for the suffering poor left in the lurch in these Covid days,  we discover how these poor live with grit n determination fired by their unshakeable faith. Faith moves mountains, they say. But we witness everyday.

In this left over lockdown days, build your 'Faith' bottom up. Not top down with God analytics.

Objective is not to attain Moksha as soon as the Lockdown is lifted. But create a new skillset to stand erect in the next Tsunami in life, with some internal strength. Not get washed away.

Watching the spiritual Masters give some clues. They surf in the rough sea of life with ease. Weather the non stop assaults of the non believers. Spiritual history is full of their travails. But they stayed afloat n led others too. With internal strength like monolith rocks.

Their constant spiritual practices enable them to remain so. Unshakeable faith in their Guru n chosen God.
Every Vivekananda statue depict his posture with head high n chest puffed up. Only Spirtuality can empower one to be so. Not Warren-Buffet type wealth ( which incidentally lost $ 50 bn in last two Covid months)

Spiritual practices can provide the de-risking tool kits. Stability of mind. Internal strength to weather any storm.

Where to begin. Did you ask.

Yes. You guessed it right.

Pray. Chant. Meditate

See 'faith' in God slowly building inside. Dropping all judgements, it builds brick by brick. Till the towering internal strength is up .

Now Pandemic or Tsunami,  you stay put unperturbed. The unshakeable faith in you keeps reassuring. "Mai hoon na".
And Ab ⤘ā¤Ŧ⤰ाā¤šā¤Ÿ ā¤šो⤍ा sambhav hi nahi.
 Aur kya chahiye?

Fri May 22, 2020

The mind craves for complexity. Wants to be in it's company. And shoos away simplicity. That's how thousands thronged the public meetings of the famous philosopher J.Krishnamoorthy those days, though most of them couldn't understand his hig funda complex philosophy. Being seen in the company of JK was almost a status symbol. Craving for complexity even if it does not help us grow internally. There are many steps before we reach the top.
Love simplicity. And begin the search of truth. Don't start with Nirvikalpa Samadhi and lose your normal sleep on it. Eat well. Sleep well. And in simple terms search Truth. Vote for simplicity. The epic stories are full of simple folks getting extra ordinary blessings. A young lad attending to his aged Parents refused to respond to Lord Himself and threw a brick. On which the visiting Lord gladly stood as Vittal. Still standing. We need to capture that simplicity emanating from the very essence of our being. No dikawat. Truth in its basic form is simple. If manipulated to look great, it becomes the Chinese version. May look great. No guarantee.

Don't start with Moksha. No heaven is waiting up there to reward you. Most terrorist outfits raise their suicide squads only on the 'Heaven Promise'. And the simpletons die to go there. Literally 'die' that is. After killing innocents in the bargain. So much for heaven. If we turn simple and truthful, where ever we live will become heavenly. Aur kya chahiye.

Don't trade simple life for complex heavens. Life is beautiful. Full of fun n joy if lived simply. Think of your young days when you jumped looking at the baloonwala blowing shapy baloons looking like monkeys. With tail attached. Where is that joy. Now to get that intensity of joy we want Share market to hit the roof and at least our holdings to to beat the index. Same unrealistic paagalpan in all areas of life.

Another bouncer is 'Enlightenment' . Many would have sat under the same Bodhi tree before Buddha. But only Buddha was 'enlightened'. It's a chain of processes he went thru internally before it ended up under the tree. Dont focus on the tree. But the process.

Before 'Enlightenment' junction arrives in our long journey, many stations in between, we need to pass thru. Enlightenment is at the end. Read  'Ten Zen bulls' story by googling. It's amazing. It shows how even after enlightenment one has to return to market place. The tenth bull shows it. That's how all enlightened masters were simple , accessible and lived among the janta. Like Kanchi Paramacharya.

We need to remain 'simple', shedding the urge to be in company of complexity. No need to try n become a Sodoku to be solved by others.

Simplicity begets 'Clarity'. In everything we do. Clear mindedness is a prerequisite for all accomplishments. There is never a confused 'accomplisher' celebrated by the society. Not even in sports n games.

Next comes 'Maturity'. Need to go into it a bit deeper. Have you noticed that
most of the damages in life are caused more by immaturity than by ignorance. In ignorance there is a possibility of fear. And with it comes caution. Measured steps etc. The grandma refuses to touch the switch board saying 'Agar shock laga tho'..? Ignorance. Cool. But an immature youngster feigns intelligence, touches a naked wire n gets shock.

Immaturity sees no danger where it is and blindly gets hurt. Many lives ruined coz of immature decisions. Adolescents do a demo of it everyday at our homes.
Behind all the failed projects, there are moments of immature decisions that turned it turtle.

People get senti and succumb. Immature decisions without weighing pros n cons. From individuals to corporates Immaturity victims are many.

Ignorance is somewhat acceptable. Immaturity is not. As, all are ignorant in different degrees all thru life.
Immaturity feigns intelligence. And lands one in trouble. Why look outside. Go back in your own life. Painful incidents triggered by immature decisions. Plenty. Wisdom arrived late.

For antidote to immaturity, certain calmness is required inside. With some bit of tolerance . ā¤ļां⤤⤚ि⤤्⤤⤤ा with ā¤¸ā¤šā¤¨ā¤ļी⤞⤤ा. Then wisdom flowers naturally.
It needs certain Prep of the mind.

Where to begin. Did you ask.
Yes. You guessed it right.

Pray. Chant. Meditate

Let the turbulent mind settle down slowly. Till it finds Serenity. In that state, mind will sit n think before triggering every action.
That's sign of the arrival of Wisdom.
It's verily the Process Maturity.

In the Lockdown now, acquire that Wisdom. And blissfully transform your life. That's verily Moksha, heaven et al rolled into one.

Thu May 21, 2020

In just about 10 days, we can scream like JNU students - 'Azaadi' 'Azaadi', without fear of Arnab's verbal attack in the evening.
Yes. Azaadi from Lockdown 4.0 that is. After that? GOK. God Only Knows.

Lockdown is God sent. For the frenetic rat race to stop a while. So that, the rats can rest n resume a while later.

Look at the bright side of life. While there are Carona victims, there are also lockdown beneficiaries. Those who navigated skillfully. Wearing mask n washing hands, they added value to their repertoire. By some meaningful engagements. Which hitherto was a near impossibility, in the mad rat race.

While helping the starving poor in whatever way possible, conserve your time for other value addtions.
In the left over days of LD 4.0 and possible extension there of, sitting locked down at home, you too can look at many choices. To add to your repertoire of knowledge n skill thru online eLearning stuff etc. Or just recall your school days and ruminate over the lessons mis-learnt despite good teachers.
Like the Moghul invasions in history and photosynthesis in botony and the like. But for the 'marks' associated with them, would never have studied such heavyduties in school days.
But now in this locked down days, atleast during whatsApp/ FB intervals, worth re-visiting a few lessons n know the stuff propah'ly. If not botany with its bayaanak names like Ocimum tenuiflorum even for simple Tulsi, atleast history should be re-learnt a bit. As it is about others stories like long gossip, sort of fits in holiday agenda. But need to be specific. Else history may consume 10 lockdowns in one go and still so much will be left till next carona.

Specific agenda to re-read history without fear of examns. And low marks.

May be, need to know from history how, despite so much of greatness as seen in PPTs on India, every one and his uncle could invade India and take back shiploads of gold n gems. And no sign of protest march in Kerala against the lootmaar fellow Vasco da gama who landed in Calicut in 1498 and set off serial looting. Where were the comrades of the day.
(Atleast change the name Vasco in Goa now) . How all of them could have a free hand to loot n loot and like dumbos we were watching. Need to go to the roots, of course masking the face n washing the hands in between as per carona protocol.

We enjoyed certain headstart with Indus valley civilisation. Thought leadership. Later, during the Vedic period 1500- 500 BCE foundations of a rich culture laid. Between 3rd n 4th century Sangam period, literature flourished. Nalanda and Taxila universities around 6th Century B.C. showed the knowledge superiority to the rest of the world.

We are the same people who invaded South East Asia and captured kingdoms. Sources assert that the Medieval Chola king Rajendra Chola I sent a naval expedition to Indochina, the Malay Peninsula and Indonesia in 1025 AD. At the end of the war, Rajendra Chola had scored a decisive victory over Srivijaya and extended his supremacy over modern day Malaysia, the Andaman and Nicobar isles and southern Thailand. His dominance over the seas helped him reach the rest of Thailand and the Khmer kingdom ( Cambodia).

Then how did the Turks,  Moghuls and later the Western countries could walk in n loot at will. And more surprisingly how after all the loot we were not completely decimated and became another impoverished Ethiopia but still alive n kicking dreaming of $ 5 trn economy in just a stones throw.

The barbaric Turks did us in. The war supremacy of the Turks with their super power cavalry with finest horses could not be matched by the native folks n their foot soldiers n normal horses. And thus the Delhi sultanat got established from 1206 - 1526 AD. There after the moghul empire with similar might.
And after that, the Europeans. British. With the supremacy of weapons. Blazing Guns.
Unabated destruction. Killings.

India accounted for 25% of the world's industrial output in 1750 AD declined to pitiable 2% in 1900 AD. According to Paul Baron of Stanford, 8% of India's GNP was transferred to British every year. Fir kya bachega . Systematic destruction of India. The present external affairs Minister S. Jaishankar stated recently in Washington Thin Tank atlantic council that "An economic study estimated that British took out of India during it's tenure, $ 45 trn in today's value" . And still we are left with enough resources to bounce back.

What kept the suffering masses going, despite total annihilation all over. Any other Nation would have caved in. Like Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria now in shambles in just few decades of war. But India kept on with certain internal strength.

It's the Bhakti Movement that  originated in the 7th century in South India with the advent of Adi Shankara and spread northwards. It swept over east and north India n reached its peak between the 15th and 17th century. It gave us many spiritual Masters who remained as beacons of light in the dark period in history. Helped the natives gather inner strength n face the adversity.

Adi shankara ( 8th century), Ramanujacharya (10th century), Madhavavharya,( 13 th century), Ramananda (14th century), Tulsidas (15th century) Vallabscharya (15th century), Chaitanya (15 th century), Kabir (15th century), Gurunanak ( 15th century), Surdas, (16th century), Mirabhai, (16th century)

The Bhakti movement kept India going with its cultural and spiritual content intact, despite alien occupation and their wanton destruction of our spiritual assets.

Later, even during the British time, no armed revolution n bloodshed in India for freedom except Satyagraha, a new political tool invented by Gandhi, with a spiritual bent of mind. That he chanted 'Ram Ram' as his last words showed the impact of the medieval Bhakti movement on every Indian. A strong force to reckon with.

Now after a millennium of continuous assaults, we still stand erect without losing our original spiritual essence. Our basic mettle. The entire nation is all set to regain the lost glory. Rebooting India, restoring the position it deserves. It already started showing. Health Minister Harsh Vardhan to be appointed as WHO Executive Board chairman as per yesterday's news.
More to follow hoisting Indians to great heights. Once again knowledge leadership.
It's our duty to leverage that strength and restore our old elevated status.
As value driven citizens with spiritual bent of mind, we can face any challenge. It's the lesson all spiritual Masters taught us.

How do we, as individuals, participate in this movement and Reboot India. Did you ask?

Yes. You guessed it right. Certain Prep needed.

Pray. Chant. Meditate

Become a spiritually charged individual practising time tested Values in life.

The nation awaits you. And many like you, to restore the lost glory and abundance.

And empower India to lead the world as a beacon.

Why wait..
Before the lockdown ends, become fit enough for the movement.
To reboot India, that is.

Into Lock down 4.0.
For many, lockdown proved to be a great opportunity to rediscover themselves. A complete overhaul of their personality per se. While many others chose to be 'Fast Forwarders' in social media - kind of 'Forward jockies'. There are also huge "Opinion manufacturing" units employing many. They opine on 'What Trump should have done. How Modi could have handled it differently' etc while locked inside their homes. Fair points.

Life slides away in timeline. Even before you realise, the 'action' time is gone. Leaving only 'analysis' time. Aisa karne ka tha. Waisa nahin karneka tha types. But life slips away.

Many realise now that 'Death' is not frightening as much as 'immobility' in physical terms. (Like getting quarantined in bed) . And 'irrelevance' in mental terms. (Like getting social distanced by all around). The body resists. And the mind revolts.

Such quarantine like isolation n social distancing even in normal times is a possibility in later sunset years. Get ready. Practice now.

If we realise the futility of worldly materialistic pursuits in the perennial rat race, there is scope to outgrow life n welcome it by staying ahead with wisdom. Then no hurt. All bliss.

It's just a matter of understanding. Deep down. No need to spend money. Nishulk praapt kar sakte hain. Being in India, it's all the more easier as our culture has all the ingredients. It reverberated in every household till a couple of centuries ago.

Yes. Immobility and Isolation by the people around as irrelevant are on top of every aging Individual's mind. Not death. As no data of past experience in it. No idea how it would be.

In this Lockdown 4.0 with the left over days, one can practice. Just learning to live alone 'locked down' in life while all around practice 'social distance' from us.
What else can be a more opportune time for this holy practice as everyone has to go thru this someday later in life.

The Spiritual Masters showed the way. Living with Peace in Solitude. Not Loneliness. Yes ā¤ā¤•ां⤤ . Without feeling ⤅⤕े⤞ाā¤Ē⤍.

Falling Silent inside is the key. Certain Silence at mental level.
Keeping quiet outside is different from remaining quiet inside.

Silence. An amazing tool to transform us. Just list out all the personal conflicts gone thru. And figure out how many could have been averted just by practicing mere Silence at those times you blurted out n caused irreversible damage.
For many, Jobs lost. Grown up children turned hostile. Friends left. Relationships ruined. And also many more diluted lower versions with lesser damages. Mere 'Silence' at the turning points could have saved the situation.

Yes. 'Silence' saves. An interesting incident during the days of Ramana Maharishi demonstrates it better. Ramana was Silence personified. His mere darshan induced Silence in many. Once a devotee who regularly sat before Him quietly everyday for a couple of hours, came late on a day. He sat a little behind. Suddenly a bus load of visitors came. Now the debate started inside the mind. 'What if the visitors from bus come n sit in front and obstruct view. Is it advisable to move a bit forward and sit close to the Master. No. He is watching. May be not correct to do so. But.. the view will be lost if someone...'
Ramana, being the Master par excellence, read his mind and told in Tam meaning 'Let anything happen. Why bother. Remain silent". On hearing this our man was startled wondering how Maharishi read his mind so accurately. And remained Silent. Bus visitors came, moved here n there n went away. But our man was in total peace refusing to be distracted. Cool.
Later as he walked out he ruminated over the Masters micro Upadesh - "Let anything happen. Why bother. Remain silent". Years later after he passed away, his friend shared with others that the man practiced the advice to the T n remained silent during all the critical times in life recalling that golden advice of the master as His Upadesha to him. And was saved each time from disaster due to that. Life remained blissful for him -  he said.

So, Silence. It's not stifling the conflicting thoughts and not mouthing a word. Such forced silence at tongue level can slip n shriek any moment. Causing same damage intended to be avoided.

Silence is remaining opinionless with neutrality. Let anything happen. Why become a self appointed judge n form opinion on all and sundries n pass judgements. Focus only on what is crucial n unavoidable to react. Minimise the engagement. Fall silent. Every mental engagement with this world drains energy. That's how we get old n die over time, energy fully drained away.

The opinionless silence is energising. Invigorating. It can handle any quarantine, left alone in the bed, hands down.
Such Silence induced Solitude can enable one to remain happy with oneself. Won't die for 'likes in facebook for every selfie posted with trivials like 'Now eating Masal dosa in Matunga cafe' etc. Nor expect thaaliyan for every little performance. A matter-of- factly solid opinionless Silence, that is.
Self invigorating. Standalone set up. An opinionless Ramana silence.
Then no worry about the unfair outside world. You are ready to guide n lead. Silently. Not cringe n follow. Grudgingly. Needs certain Prep.

But where to start. Did you ask.

Yes. You guessed it right.

Pray. Chant. Meditate

Over time, watch how the noisy mind is getting tamed. Less n less decibels. Till it's zero.
Now no more opinions. It's like watching Sunrise. Neither good nor bad. Just a fact.
Realize that such a practiced Silence is a pillar of support during sunset years.

For now, 'silently' enjoy the sunlight.

Time is bad now they say. Carona could be lurking in any corner n launch itself on our nose thru our fingers - they scare all. Pushing us into a perennial washing mode.

True. Carona is an enemy to humanity to be fought tooth n nail (n sanitised thereafter).

But our tradition taught us to learn even in battle field. As Arjuna did when Krishna orally published ver 1 of Gita. And also Laxmana did, when Ram asked him to learn Shiv bhakti from Ravan by standing at his feet. So battle fields turning learning platforms is not new. And here we are in one. So, huge scope to learn, thanks to Carona.

With a world of time credited to our life account by lockdown n as we struggle to spend it, we can have a cool plan to learn a thing or two.

May be unlock the hard coded concepts like 'God' , 'Love' etc which the hyper preachers never allow to question. Whoever questions existence of God per se is sure to receive a backlash. The preachers, believing to be sole saviours of God, may start off with "Abhey Naasthik. Sunn le" . And go on n on. Almost making the questioner conclude that God is not a possibility as, if He exists, wouldn't have allowed these fanatics to have a field day. That's why Nashthiks never vanished since eons. Our God funda is not clear. But everyone n his uncle gives huge sermons to imaginary audience. They may say all religions are same but ask them 'if so why you go to Tirupathi when another Balaji temple is in neighbourhood Nerul? ' . When you can't see two Balajis as same, how to see all religions as same?' Atheists giggle. As our funda is not clear.

Same with 'Love'. Another abstract spin. Many messed up life mis'loving.

Time to revisit n redefine the concepts we hold dear to our heart but hard coded. Never questioned. Fear of backlash. Just some deeper  introspection is enough to get more clarity. No need to join Byjus learning apps.

Get simple. If God n Love are not accessible to simple folks, then they not worth pursuing.

'Love' is not a skill to be acquired. Like carpentry. Nor is it an action to be performed. Like puja paat.
It's just a different state of mind.
It just happens when heart overflows with compassion n kindness. In that state, there is a compelling behaviour to reach out n help the needy ones. Even risking ones life.
That's how in floods many saviours lose life saving others. That's how many of the migrants fed freely along their way without fear of getting infected.

Love surges up spontaneously. Without training.

Pure Love creates an energy field around it. Gravitates all silently. Without preconditions.

What's great about genuine Love is, it's elasticity. It can stretch n accommodate everyones ego. That's when Love is felt by the recipient. And adored. In fact it's the only metric to measure love - 'Accomodating others ego without revolting'. And slowly winning over n transforming.

The Spiritual Masters are such silent energy fields of Love. Ramana was simply lying down in Arunachala (Tiruvannamalai) giving darshan to all. Many others with more charming personality and better optics would have been around at that time. But what gravitated to Him, the learned men like Paul Brunton and the plain vanilla villagers alike?. It's divine Love experienced at the feet of the Master. Yes. It's an energy field of sorts.

When Yogananda left the ashram in search of God elsewhere in Himalayas n returned after long, his Guru Yukteshwar giri received him as though nothing happened and assigned the same routine tasks as before. Love accomodates all types of egos. And subjugates them at the end by winning over.

Don't attempt to Love as though it's another task. Just learn to stretch your mind and accomodate others ego. Elasticity will increase over time. And accomodate more n more. See how your detractors, critics and those who appear to have made a career out of hurting you full time, look acceptable, manageable types all of a sudden. It's the magical Love.

Thank the enemy Carona for inducing us to introspect on such age old concepts like Love in the Lockdown days.
So much more waiting for our attention. Introspect more in Lockdown 4. This only is the first step to Athma nirbhar, our PM's favourite phrase now.

But it needs certain Prep to introspect with Peace. To tame the mind slowly.

Where to begin. Did you ask.

Yes. You guessed it right.

Pray. Chant. Meditate

Deep down inside you, the spring of Love will get activated. And well up on its own. Accomodating all egos, it will stretch n accept all.
Now you are an irresistible energy field of Love. A new centre of gravity that gravitates all, horizontally.

Thank Carona for the extra time and the extraordinary results.

Love all. Serve all.

Fri May 15, 2020

More than the fear of death due to Carona virus, it's the disruption to routine it causes, that upsets all. Otherwise, by sheer logic, the number of people dying of other specific illnesses are more than Covid and they don't disturb us with their proven higher mortality rates. From Jan - Apr 2020, the number of people died of Malaria was more than 5 times than that of Covid as per published stats in some site doing rounds in whatsApp circuits. So the numbers don't matter except for the news hungry media. But disruption to normal routine hurts more .

We are moving in certain groove. And anything that interrupts n slows it down or stops, causes pain. Conflicts.

In short, the first encounter with any perceived conflict causes pain.

So, to eliminate the pain points, need to work on conflicts, the mind revolts against. And getting self injured.

Everything is a matter of perception. Perceived comfort zones. Perceived conflict zones. Most kids initially look at going to school as conflict zone n cry. Perception. As they grow, the conflict zones perceptionally vary. And the revolt against them at the mind level continues. It was school then. Later, could be office. And Society itself at some point in time. Life riddled with conflicts.

Root cause analysis would show that expecting conflict free life is the main cause at the roots.

Conflict is an integral part of life. Views differ. Perceptions vary. Clash of opinions is inevitable.

That's why epic like Ramayan n Mahabharat depict the conflict zones as central theme and wars waged around them.

Conflicts in mind caused by different perceptions cause most of the mental agony.

What can not be cured has to be endured, they say. If we learn to live with conflicts as unavoidable evil, the pain could be minimised.

Conflict creators could be a nasty boss, an intolerable neighbour, unavoidable in- laws or even unadjusting spouse. Each one can create an independent conflict zone n force it upon you to deal with. Our mere existence itself could be unacceptable to them n play as cause for the conflicts in their perception.

It's time to outgrow them n learn to live with them.

As conflicts are mostly caused by differing perceptions, work on them. Perceptionally transforming could lead us to Peace. Try.

During the entire political life till Freedom, Gandhi encountered only conflicts. Much before that, when Adi shankara arrived with a specific agenda, He encountered unending conflicts including for cremation of His own mother. They all faced them with certain steely resolve and didn't cave in. In current times, Subramaniam Swami is a permanent resident of conflict zone. A green card holder out there. But he wins in almost every single case he files which becomes a certain game changer.
Now Arnab is learning the ropes to maneuver the conflicts he is forced to encounter. With 150 FIRs filed across India, he is entitled to start an online course on Conflict management, once he is out of them n back to his screaming ritual.

Even running an innocuous spiritual ashram could cause immense conflicts. But the Masters remain at Peace in the midst of them. And deliver what they have come for, by holding benign perceptions on the world around them. Accomodating all conflicts. Cool.

Look at those realised Masters for clues. Inner strength or Atma bhal is what they invoke to deal with conflicts. It's the same Atma nirbhar, PM Modiji is also insisting on.

Time to change our rigid perceptions to attain peace. And coexist with conflicts. They are here to stay in their own thorny formats. Only we need to change.

In this lock down days, sit down n list all the conflicts that cause perennial agony inside you. Except Covid related, of course. Covid exit is just a couple of months away.

Look at each one in your list deeply. Tell yourself what cannot be changed needs to be endured. Changing our hard coded perceptions that hold on to them is a must. But for that, certain mental strength is needed. More technically Atma bhal. That empowers one to deal with any conflict hands down. Then, from bothering boss to bitching neighbour, no one can rob your Peace.

Where do we begin to reach there. Did you ask?

Yes. You guessed it right.

Pray. Chant. Meditate

In the deep realms of mind, your inner strength lie coiled up. Meditate n Unwind.
Unleash that hidden potential. See your Atma bhal acquiring critical mass.
Enough to handle any conflict.
Experience the perceptional change.
Now, no conflict hurts.
Only Peace n joy reign inside.
Aur kya chahiye
